MarketingVOX: Nokia and Turner Broadcasting System have announced that content from the Cartoon Network will be available for download to mobile phones in 10 European countries.
Through Nokia’s Content Discoverer mobile-phone-client software, users of Nokia mobile phones will be able to browse, download and purchase Cartoon Network games, video clips and other content from the network’s shows, writes Multichannel News (via MediaBuyerPlanner).
European users of mobile phones have been quicker to embrace mobile technologies such as text messaging and internet capabilities than their U.S. counterparts. Nokia expects Content Discoverer to be available to more than 20 million consumers by the end of 2006.
