Branded Vinyl Stickers Target Youth

MediaBuyerPlanner: GoGorilla Media is capitalizing on the rising popularity of skateboarding and branded stickers among an elusive younger audience by creating unique, attractive vinyl stickers that stick to basically anything for giveaways at events and through retailers, writes Media Life.
Creative and a simply presented universal message are key when developing these stickers. “Kids like modern and in some cases very retro graphics, something that looks cool to them,” said Joe Bonadio, vp of GoGorilla. Referring to the message, he continued, “It just says something like a simple truth, something that can mean a million things to a million different people.” The company targets youth ages 12-22.
Given the durability of the vinyl stickers, they often get used in graffiti campaigns, according to Bonadio: “Put them on a wall or the side of a bus. They’re used as urban graffiti all the time. They have the same effect. They stand up to weather. They don’t go away.”
