MarketingVOX: Avis Rent-A-Car is bringing wireless access to its car rental travelers wherever they go, reports WebProNews.
The service, Avis Connect, will cost just $10.95 a day and provide customers with wireless Internet throughout their trip. The Connect service uses a cell phone network to get an Internet connection. The service is debuting in San Jose, Los Angeles and Newark, N.J., with more cities being added in the third quarter of the year.
