If Steve Woodruff is the Connection Agent. He connects people with their purpose, their message, and with other people in order to create an ever-growing Opportunity Network. He writes at the Connection Agent blog.
Steve is an unusual hybrid of conceptualizer, strategist, marketer, analyst, wordsmith, semi-techie, and all-around decent fellow, except when there's bad coffee or lousy wine.
He is an active collaborator in the social media world, having participated in several group-authored books and blogs.
Steve is a 24+ year veteran of business development in the healthcare sector, fulfilling roles in sales, marketing, communications, and product development. Since 2006 Steve has been a consultant-entrepreneur, focusing on pharmaceutical training and communications through his company Impactiviti. His recommended referral business model is now being extended into other business sectors under the Connection Agent persona. His wife and 5 boys can't quite tell you what exactly he does for a living, but since his clients and partners seem happy, they're cool with it.
Steve can also be found on Twitter, LinkedIn.
