MediaBuyerPlanner: Arbitron has introduced an electronic version of its radio network ratings commercial affidavit verification system.
The electronic version, an enhancement of the RADAR network radio service, will be an improvement on the Spot Confirmation service, writes Radio Ink. With the enhancement, Arbitron will be able to increase the number of stations monitored and expand the number of broadcast hours covered.
Arbitron will also be able to increase the frequency, from once to four times a year, of its reports that show how well the commercial affidavits provided to the networks by affiliated stations correspond to the actual broadcast of network spots.
