Online ad network ValueClick also reported strong quarterly results Tuesday, reports MediaPost. Revenues were $130 million, up138 percent from the year-ago period. Net income was $14.4 million, or $0.14 per share – up from $6.8 million, or $0.08 a share, a year ago.
aQuantive CEO Brian McAndrews pointed to the significant contribution of international business to income, particularly for Avenue A/Razorfish: “We do see a real opportunity in growing geographically for the…business.”
aQuantive’s Digital Marketing Technologies segment, consisting of the Atlas ad server, had revenues of $29.7 million, up from $22.5 million, achieving good results with its rich media offerings as well as opportunities overseas. The Digital Performance Media segment (Drive PM, Media Brokers and the recently acquired Franchise Gators) had revenues of $11.9 million, up from $6.5 million.
aQuantive expects full-year revenues of $420-430 million and net income of $0.54-0.58 per share.
