MarketingVOX: Apple will soon allow YouTube videos to be viewed by Apple TV users, reports The Associated Press.
YouTube videos will be wirelessly streamed to Apple TV sets, filtered through the iTunes system to allow for viewing. At launch, slated for mid-June, only a few thousand of its most popular offerings will be available, but more will be added regularly.
This is Apple’s first move to expose Apple TV to the wider Web. Apple is also planning to offer a thicker version of the Apple TV product, which will include more storage space.
