MarketingVOX: Turner Broadcasting System is consolidating digital ad-selling for all its networks under one division, reports MediaPost.
Turner Entertainment New Media Ad Sales will now manage the sales of digital advertising for the websites of Cartoon Network, TBS, GameTap and other Turner properties. The new unit will be headed by the newly-hired Walker Jacobs, who will serve as senior vice-president.
Turner is the latest media company of late to create a dedicated division for digital sales. Doing so gives them the ability to offer more reach and audience share for potential buyers.
