Alaska Airlines Adds In-Flight Internet

MarketingVOX: Alaska Airlines will begin offering internet access during flights next year, reports PCWorld.
The service will be provided by Row 44, which will provide access across Alaska Airlines’ 144-plane fleet. Wi-Fi hotspots will be available throughout the aircraft’s cabin space, allowing passengers to sign on.
If the test is successful, Alaska Airlines will be the first US carrier to offer in-flight online service. Others have made attempts at providing online wireless service, but no one has found a good solution.
It’s not yet been decided how much such access would cost.
