MarketingVOX: Omnicom’s Agency.com has opened an office in Rome, increasing the number of its offices worldwide from six last year to ten, reports MediaPost.
“The past 12 months have been about European expansion,” said David Eastman, Worldwide CEO of Agency.com. Rome joins European outposts in Milan, Dublin and Brussels. The shop does work in Italy for clients such as Nissan and Sony PlayStation.
Eastman added that Agency.com plans to set up in more locales in Europe and Asia. Its global expansion has mirrored that of its rivals over the past year.
aQuantive’s Avenue A/Razorfish last year acquired DNA in the U.K., Amnesia in Australia, Neue Digitale in Germany and the Hong Kong-based interactive agency e-Crusade; and it partnered with Dentsu in Japan.
