MarketingVOX: Monster has added 80 newspapers to the list of outlets for which the job search company will provide classifieds functionalities, reports The Associated Press.
The papers are owned by Community Newspaper Holdings and the deal more than doubles the initial number of publications doing business with Monster. 60 daily papers previously signed for employment listings and search, bringing the number to 140.
The sites will be co-branded with the paper and Monster.
Partnering with an existing job search site like Monster or Yahoo’s HotJobs allows smaller papers to expand their classifieds listings easily. Yahoo has about 260 papers its partnering with for job-search.
