MarketingVOX: Former Yahoo CMO Cammie Dunaway came through with her promise to announce where she'll be headed next after she leaves Yahoo Nov. 1.
Dunaway will join Nintendo as evp of sales and marketing effective Nov. 5, according to AdWeek. She spent four years at Yahoo, and put in another 13 at Frito Lay.
Nintendo has been hard up for marketing talent. It recently lost three of its top marketers after decided to relocate from Redmond, Wash. to the Bay Area.
Nintendo made headlines yesterday after announcing it doubled its profits in just a year thanks in part to its new Wii console, which has redefined the definition of "gaming console" by appealing to all, instead of just young males.
