As Stephanie points out on her blog, we’ve all seen fallout from urban legends, rumors and celebrity talk online. But what happens when it happens to ordinary people...? What happens when it happens to you?

Given Stephanie's experience. it's not as far-fetched as you might think, especially given the proliferation of social media stuff that's increasingly indexed by Google and elsewhere.
