stumbleupon digg del.icio.us

MarketingVOX: Double Fusion is preparing for the launch of a new product that will open older video game titles to the same ads now being placed in new games, reports Brandweek.

Fusion.runtime will allow for dynamic ad insertion in games created before was such a thing existed. Publishers need simply insert Double Fusion's code and the games become friendly to fresh ads.

The code opens up more revenue possibilities for those older games, something that previously seemed impossible.

Ubisoft, one of the publishers signed on to Double Fusion's new system, says it will use the technology to make older games available for free online.

Oberon, another publisher that announced its support, will do something similar with its line of casual games that appear on MSN and other sites.
