MarketingVOX: Social bookmarking site Clipmarks has just been acquired by Forbes.com.
Clipmarks was launched in late 2005 with a passionate core audience, but never quite reached the userbase of other services like del.icio.us has.
A Clipmarks spokesperson initially said the reports of the acquisition were premature, then more or less confirmed the deal.
The acquisition has not been officially sealed, but will be formally announced in a couple of weeks.
