MediaBuyerPlanner: President and CEO Dana Anderson of DDB Chicago has just turned in a letter of res, citing family-oriented reasons, according to information from Advertising Age.

"I am very proud of my tenure and accomplishments at DDB, yet I want to take some time and be with my daughter before she leaves for college next year," Anderson stated.

Rick Carpenter, DDB president and CEO of the LA office, will be taking over her position.

Dana Anderson has served as president and CEO of the Chicago arm since 2004. The agency's client base includes McDonald's, Anheuser-Busch and Nine West.
