MarketingVOX: CMO Susanne Lyons of Visa will be leaving the company she joined in 2004, less than a year before Visa's initial public offering, according to Advertising Age.
Reasons for her departure remain unclear. Effective July 16, senior VP-advertising and brand management Kevin Burke of Visa USA will become head of US marketing.
Lyons helped launch the "Life takes Visa" campaign, guiding it from its initial "Everywhere you want to be" brand message.
