MediaBuyerPlanner: JCDecaux's Avenir subsidiary has been awarded a six-year contract from Paris to operate 81 outdoor advertising sites.
The scrolling displays will be installed on all major access roads into Paris, writes Forbes.
The group won a larger contract earlier this year to manage advertising on bus shelters and other outdoor supports. It is also supplying over 20,000 bikes and nearly 1,500 rental stations to the city in order to help reduce traffic.
The Paris contract is being challenged by Clear Channel, but Clear Channel's claim has already been rejected twice by a Parisian court.
