MarketingVOX: After a February site relaunch, online fashion community Girlsense has opened 400,000 new e-boutiques and now serves over 11 million tween and young teen boutique shoppers across the nation.
In addition to fashion creation and dress-up games, the young and growing fashion community enjoys over 100,000 new designs per day, making it among the busiest tween "fashion houses" in the US.
Girls can also visit virtual boutiques and try clothes on before purchasing them. Purchases are conducted with virtual G-cents, the GirlSense currency.
Tweens are girls between the ages of nine and 12.
GirlSense, whose services are free to users, is owned and operated by StarNet Interactive. Founded in 2006, StarNet is a privately-held spin-off of Gteko Ltd, which has offices in New York City and near Tel Aviv Israel.
