If you aren’t in line for an iPhone today or stuck in traffic heading to the shore, take a jaunt over to the The Huffington Post, where my debut blog post, Weblish Spoken Here, today appears in its Media section.
From the opening paragraph:
“Blog, folksonomy, wiki and other words coined by geeks and netizens are among the most irritating new ‘Weblish’ words, according to a recent poll. Meanwhile, such words inspired by the Internet age are creeping into dictionaries, making them a more permanent chafe.”
As a longtime reader and huge fan of HuffPo, I’m both honored and psyched to be one of its newest contributors. For those of you who don't regularly read The Huffington Post, you might want to revisit it -- it's recently expanded its lineup to include coverage in Business, Media, Entertainment and Lifestyle to augment its well-trafficked political pages.
So check it out and please leave me a comment over there… I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Here's the post: Weblish Spoken Here.

Ann,
Congratulations! I'm on my way over. Who do I have to bribe, I mean contact, to be considered for a writing gig over there?
