MediaBuyerPlanner: Slate has launched a video site, SlateV.com, to complement its online magazine, according to the Lost Remote blog.

The Brightcove-powered site is being run by Multiple Emmy winner Bill Smee and veteran NPR correspondent Andy Bowers.

Last summer, to celebrate its 10-year anniversary, Slate launched a redesign of its site.
