MediaBuyerPlanner: Lamar Advertising plans to have more than 600 digital advertising displays in operation by the end of the year.
Sean Reilly, president of the company, said Lamar's digital component is quickly becoming an increasingly large portion of its revenue, writes Forbes. Last year, digital accounted for 2 percent of sales, and accounts for approximately 5 percent of revenue as of May.
Lamar plans to put up 1 digital display per business day.
