NielsenConnect Cross-Discipline Initiative Launches

MediaBuyerPlanner: The Nielsen Company's new cross-discipline initiative that it designed to help clients better understand their target markets and industry trends has been launched.

The initial services of the initiative, called NielsenConnect, include NielsenTrend, which offers insights around a client's financial performance, NielsenLinx, which helps marketers organize and manage data on brands, locations and media, and Nielsen In-Store, a global measurement service which helps marketers understand how to reach and influence buyers in retail environments, writes BtoB.

Other NielsenConnect services are NielsenCombine, a consumer insight service that "integrates data sets to create a deeper understanding of consumer behavior," according to Nielsen, Nielsen Connections, which allows users to evaluate the consumer's activity across media by product usage, and Nielsen Health, which brings Nielsen's portfolio of data and analytics to bear on the needs of the health care industry.
