Vermont-based Watershed Publishing, which has built a network of sites in this space and others that aggregate news into a sort of content tapas, this week expanded its network with the introduction of a marketing data site.

MarketingCharts.com publishes daily updates of key marketing data, both traditional and interactive, along with daily stories that distill the latest studies and other data. Users will be able to download Excel files of chart data for their own particular use.

The new MarketingCharts site has relationships in place with research companies such as Nielsen/NetRatings and Nielsen Research to distribute otherwise proprietary data sets on its site, and eventually via a newsletter.

Interestingly, information on the ad-supported site is free.
