stumbleupon digg del.icio.us

MediaBuyerPlanner: Cox Radio has signed a five-year renewal contract with Arbitron for ratings and related services in Cox's 18 markets, Arbitron announced.

The agreement also covers PPM ratings services for Cox's four stations in Houston, Arbitron's second PPM market, writes Mediaweek. When Arbitron commercializes the PPM ratings services in the rest of the markets on its PPM rollout schedule where Cox has radio stations, those stations will be included in the PPM service as well.

Those markets are New York, Atlanta, Miami, Tampa, San Antonio, Orlando and Jacksonville, writes Trading Markets.

Cox was the last broadcaster in Houston to allow for its radio signals to be encoded for PPM tracking.
