Coke Hits 160 Countries with Mobile Video Campaign

stumbleupon digg del.icio.us

MarketingChartsCoke is launching a mobile text and video ad campaign across 160 countries, using technology that can target specific handsets with video capabilities. The ads include both graphical and text formats on mobile web pages.

Users who click on the ad are taken to a Coke landing page where they can view a short clip.

Coke is using AdMob to deliver the mobile website's click-to-video capability. AdMob is launching a suite of web-based landing page tools later this spring, and the Coke campaign is designed to beta test the new video functionality.

The ads promote Coke's user-generated video series, "Bottle Films."
