MediaBuyerPlanner: Clear Channel has made deals to sell 362 more of its radio stations, for a total of $820 million, writes Mediaweek.

The company is selling nearly 450 radio stations in smaller markets. It has also agreed to sell its 56 station TV group to Providence Equity Partners for $1.2 billion.

Clear Channel shareholders will vote on May 8 on a buyout offer of $39 a share from Thomas H. Lee Partners and Bain Capital. Proxy advisory service ISS recommended Tuesday that Clear Channel shareholders vote against the bid.
