MediaBuyerPlanner: The town of Erie, Pa., will see two tri-message billboards be replaced with two digital billboards from Watchfire Digital Outdoor.
Advertising Advantage, which owns the billboards, will place the new boards back to back in the busiest traffic area in Erie. Immediate advertising for the billboards is nearly 100 percent sold, though the installation is still about six weeks away, according to the companies. These will be the first digital billboards for Advertising Advantage.
Watchfire Digital Outdoor claims it manufactures the industry's only 19mm pixel pitch billboard, which is capable of producing 281 trillion colors, the most in the industry. All Watchfire billboards feature 140-degree viewing angle LEDs. Watchfire also provides a web cam for real-time monitoring of billboards, automatic diagnostic monitoring via email and log files for proof of performance.
