MediaBuyerPlanner: Arbitron has launched a new web destination for minority and first-time radio buyers, which offers ideas on helping to build a business plan and raise capital.
Arbitron senior vp Carol Hanley points out that nearly 500 radio stations will be sold by Clear Channel as part of the company's impending sale, writes Radio Ink. The sale marks a tremendous opportunity for first time buyers of radio stations, and the new website will help them understand the value of radio and how to go about investing in it.
The site was inspired by the Minority Media and Telecommunications Council fly-in for aspiring minority radio broadcasters that was held in January in Washington, D.C.
