MediaBuyerPlanner: ESPN's SportsCenter will be celebrating its 30,000th live episode on Sunday, Feb. 11 at 11 p.m. ET, writes Broadcasting & Cable.
The show will include special retrospective segments into a traditional SportsCenter edition. ESPN anchors Stuart Scott and Steve Levy will host the show and they will be joined by former SportsCenter anchors like Bob Ley.
The show, which now can be seen in its newest markets, Australia and New Zealand, first aired on Sept. 7, 1979.
Other international editions include Spanish, Portuguese, Hindi, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean and Japanese.
