MediaBuyerPlanner: News International may be launching a weekly news, comment and analysis magazine called Spectrum, writes Mediaweek (U.K.).

The company registered the magazine title with the Patent Office in October. The publication could draw on the editorial resources of The Times.

Times insiders have indicated that the news analysis genre would be an area of interest.
