MediaBuyerPlanner: MediaSpan Networks has added nearly a dozen newspaper and TV websites to its network of local affiliates, including The Orange County (Calif.) Register.

New additions also include alternative weeklies Philadelphia City Paper, The Austin Chronicle, San Antonio Current, Salt Lake City Weekly, Arkansas Times and Jackson Free Press, writes Editor & Publisher.

The network represents more than 1200 local websites in 300 markets, and allows advertisers to buy several markets at once, through a single contact.
