There's nothing wrong if someone predicts. Predictions are just normal. It its still up to the marketers on how to handle their business. As long as online marketing exists, then marketers will always be there.

Hi
I think i have just understood and agreed with what this post is saying
Great list of online marketing resource.
Very useful!
2. A new 3D virtual world will surpass Second Life in popularity and lead the race toward a 3D, real-time Internet shopping experience.

I do not believe in predictions. I trust in this Cherokee Indian Proverb: Don't let failures or successes of yesterday use up your Today ... empty yourself of all of your yesterdays." (I discoverd it thanks to this blog http://evelynrodriguez.typepad.com )
What about Gartner's prediction which forcarst that 'Blogging and community contributors will peak in the first half of 2007'?
Best wishes to all mpdailyfix team ;))

Interesting predictions, BL! I think you are dead-on with #2 and #4, in particular; I tend to share Greg's view there.
Blogs are hot new medium: I *so* wish!

I think you're dead-on with all of these BL. With #2 in particular, I've taken to likening Second Life to Friendster - the early-on category leader (or at least big mover) that gets eclipsed by a later mover that does it smarter and better. Your focus on a SHOPPING metaverse is an interesting one - I'm not as bullish on Oddcast (even though at Digitas we've done more than a couple of programs with them), but I agree that it will be someone who makes it easy, functional and relatively mass.
Good stuff - I'm looking forward to seeing how 07 plays out.

It'll be interesting to see who's predictions are right. Bloggers certainly have a lot of opinions. http://www.technorati.com/search/%222007+predictions%22
