MediaBuyerPlanner: Golden Gate Capital, parent company of Spiegel, has acquired two brands - Carabella and A.B. Lambdin - with the acquisition of Carabella Corp, writes Direct Magazine.

Each of the new catalogs will continue to operate independently. The two new brands significantly increase Spiegel's swimwear and elegant eveningwear offerings, according to a statement from the company.
