MediaBuyerPlanner: Univision will be sold to an investor group that includes Madison Dearborn Partners, Providence Equity Partners, Texas Pacific Group, Thomas H. Lee Partners and Saban Capital Group for a total of $13.7 billion, according to Mediaweek.

The acquisition was approved at a special meeting of company shareholders. The deal is expected to be finalized by spring 2007.
