MediaBuyerPlanner: Spin is increasing its trim size from 8-by-10 inches to 9-by-11 inches.
The mag says that the move, beginning with the September issue, will enable the monthly to include more photography and to stand out on newsstands, Mediaweek reports.
Spin's circ in the last half of 2005 fell 5.3 percent to 540,901 copies, with both subs and newsstand down year-over-year. In February, San Francisco-based McEvoy Group and Hartle Media bought the title from Vibe/Spin Ventures for less than $5 million.
