Doggie Bags Steer Texans to DirecTV

stumbleupon digg del.icio.us

MediaBuyerPlanner: A new ad program in Dallas has restaurant-goers bringing leftovers home in branded doggie bags.

GoGorilla Media says that the doggie bags are larger than coffee and deli bags, and are more likely to go home with a customer, rather than to go back to the office, according to Media Life. DirecTV participated in the program launch, distributing 50,000 bags at barbecue restaurants in Dallas.

The bags are 16 inches long and can be printed on both sides, in black and white or color. In addition to barbecues, venues include diners, burger joints and lunch restaurants. The program is available in any market and can be targeted by zip code.
