MediaBuyerPlanner: New statistics from The Media Audit show that certain terrestrial radio stations offer more diversity of playlists and programming than XM Satellite Radio, according to Clear Channel.

For the AAA format, for example, KBCO-FM (Denver) has aired 3,959 different song titles since January, 82 more than XM's similar station, Cafe (X045).

In Adult Contemporary, Clear Channel Radio's station in the No. 1 market, New York City, aired 1,308 different titles, 441 more than XM's The Blend. In market #58 (Dayton, Ohio), Adult Contemporary WLQT aired 2,458 different titles, 1,591 more than 'The Blend'. Clear Channel points out that, according to the Media Audit's stats, its own stations in America's largest, mid-sized and smallest markets play more unique songs than satellite radio.
