MediaBuyerPlanner: Radio One COO Mary Catherine Sneed has left the company to pursue consulting, BillboardRadioMonitor reports.

"I am going back to consulting," Sneed said. "I think I have a lot to offer in the urban field both in sales and programming. I also want to consult Hispanic stations on sales."

CEO Alfred Liggins will serve as acting COO until a permanent replacement is named.
