As you have probably noticed, I am completely obsessed with YouTube....
Every day, creative uses have come up in my life, but it wasn't until last week when I realized the B2B potential.
Here are two examples, and I would love to hear from you on this matter.
1) Are you using YouTube to promote your products or services? This week I received an email from Andy Beal of Fortune Interactive who made the announcement that his firm’s SEMLogic tool had some new upgrades. The email included a link to a video. Brilliant. If all B2B marketers could clearly explain their product in a short video, the world would be a better place.
2) The second was a frustrating call from a friend whose client had suddenly found that its brand was being slammed in YouTube. What to do? Create content like crazy and post it to YouTube? Engage in a tagging war? Start a lawsuit.
So tell me, how do you YouTube in your B2B life....

I've been using YouTube to give free advice on marketing (in spanish)... but on a Community level.
When I tried to get to corporations to buy this advice, I realize it could be a great self-marketing tool but it's incomplete. They need lots of other information. So I don't recommend it to B2C as a stand-alone strategy.
But on the B2B level, things are different. One of my clients (a doctor, specialized on obessity surgery) used YouTube to explain pacients the procedure.
It was an excellent idea!!! People love it, and share it a lot.
(PS: I don't know how to post the link to the video I'm talking about, but you can find it at YouTube on "obesidad").
