MediaBuyerPlanner: Cox Radio is purchasing WBGB-FM Jacksonville, Florida from Salem Communications for approximately $7.7 million, RadioInk reports.

When the deal closes, Cox Radio will own six stations in the Jacksonville market including WBGB-FM, WAPE-FM, WFYV-FM, WJGL-FM, WMXQ-FM and WOKV-AM.
