MediaBuyerPlanner: In the hopes of beating NBC's Today show in morning viewers, ABC has appointed a new executive team for Good Morning America.
Former CBS Evening News executive producer Jim Murphy will join GMA as senior executive producer, along with GMA veteran, new executive producer Tom Cibrowski, according to Broadcasing & Cable. The duo will take their new posts in September and jointly oversee the program.
