Another Use for Duct Tape: To Prove Cable's 'Stickiness'

MediaBuyerPlanner: On Monday, a cable network owned by Comcast, G4, sought to capture the attention of media buyers and advertisers attending the upfront week in New York by duct taping four young men to the sides of a flatbed truck, the New York Times reports. The stunt was meant to demonstrate the "stickiness" of G4's programming, particularly with the hard-to-reach younger male viewer.

Two of the taped-up men were watching video iPods, to reiterate the fact that G4 has six of its shows in the top 25 on iTunes.
