MediaBuyerPlanner: In conjunction with a TV spot launched early in May, the Georgia-based insurance company Aflac said next week it would launch its first national radio campaign that targets small business owners, writes Brandweek.

The two 30-second radio spots - which do not include the Aflac duck featured in the TV spots - direct listeners to a business tip website, www.aflacsb.com, which will launch along with the radio campaign.

"We want to let people know that we are a partner in small business," said Al Johnson, vp of branding and marketing for Aflac. "We think radio is the most effective way to reach small business owners."
