(MediaBuyerPlanner) In its the latest move to strengthen its networks in China, Omnicom Group announced Sunday the official opening of its office in Shanghai, China, on the company's 20th anniversary.
Of the new office, Omnicom President and CEO John Wren said, "China is a key strategic market for Omnicom. The opening of this office is a clear illustration of our commitment to the region. We are delighted to be celebrating our 20th anniversary in China, and it is symbolic that our office is opening here in this milestone year for the Group."
"China is a driving force of the Group's business in the Asia-Pacific region," said Serge Dumont, senior vp for Omnicom Group Inc. and president of Omnicom Asia Pacific. "Through opening an office here, we will be able to anticipate and meet clients' growing demand for services in China with even greater efficiency."
