(MediaBuyerPlanner) WPP Group's Mediaedge:cia has taken over the media planning and buying for film studio DreamWorks SKG - which spent $270 million domestically on media in 2005, according to TNS Media Intelligence - writes AdWeek.
The decision to replace Texas-based incumbent Omnicom Group's GSD&M came without review.
In January 2005, Mediaedge:cia took over the $550 million media account at Paramount, which acquired DreamWorks earlier this year.
